Veteran runners earn new personal records

The girls cross country team will compete again Sep. 30 at the Carlisle invite beginning at 9:00 a.m..

The girls began the season placing sixth out of seventeen at the Big Valley Invitational.

The top three placing runners for the team was senior Kayla Rosas, with a time of 22:06, placing twenty-eighth of one hundred and twenty six.

Senior Amanda Chamberlain finished thirty second with a time of 22:12.

Sophomore Riley Boutiller beat her previous personal record with a time of 22:27. Boutiller placed forty first.

At the Kiski Cavalier Invitational on September 16, 2017, the girls placed fifth out of 20 teams with a finishing score of one hundred and eighty seven.

Chamberlain placed seventeenth out of one hundred forty eight and finished with her season best time of 21:37.9.
